Very happy with the product

Agree wholeheartedly with Mongezi - such a brilliant watch. U need to learn to push the watch above your wrist to get an accurate HR reading when training. This then gives you an accurate reading ( and make sure it doesn't slip up and down your wrist, must fit snugly). It's truly a winner!

I'm struggling to set/fix the date. I'm not sure whether the problem is with me or what.

For now I’m loving it and it’s 101% of what I wanted. It’s very lite than other brands.

Love it. Would tweek the syncing a little perhaps hence the 4. For the rest, very happy.

Great battery life. Wrist HRM reliability not 100% - can vary slightly but gives the correct general idea.

For activities it's working 100%.
For bluetooth and sync to phone it fails dismally.

A happy & Proud 5 Star from me as the owner of this watch since last week Thursday, the 30th of March 2017.
I have done my research quite aggressively before buying this watch and had narrowed my preferences to this watch and the FITBIT Surge and only on the battery I opted for Garmin Vivo Active HR's promised 13 hurs on GPS.
Battery life was and still is the most important factor for me because I do ultra runs and Comrades though I may not spent 13 hours on the road (hehehe lucky me, thanks to my good training that affords me to maintain a fast pace) but GPS time remains very crucial.
So the test I did since last week Friday fully charged overnight into Saturday Morning.
I used watch 24 hours each day until this morning, the 06th April 2017 and only got to charge the watch this morning after my 14kms run I did with my team.
Sunday I ran 48kms in 03:37 minutes of GPS tracking, rested Monday & Tuesday did 8kms of GPS time, Wednesday did 11kms of GPS time and this as mentioned, 14kms of GPS and when I started my training this morning the battery was @ 12% and it still carried me through the training and that deserves a Big High 5 from me.
The watch is also fully loaded with Great features which I really appreciate, very easy to use, very light weight and very easy to customize.
The menu is logically simple, apps and settings are just in the right place, you don't need to read a How To manual to get going.
The two buttons plus touch screen does it all very simple, if you won a smart phone, this watch is even easier than the smart phone.
So for me, this has been a very worthwhile purchase based on the experience I have had so far... I would have hated having to charge a watch every 2 days.
I also like the effortless auto-syncing of the watch to the app on my phone and automatic sending of my workouts to Vitality, this really allows me the time to just carry on with my life without an extra burden of making things to happen.
Once set-up correctly, this watch is like something that doesn't exist in your life as it takes nothing from you.
great piece. great battery life., South Africa. 13 May 2017
I had it since Nov 2016. It crashed once in March and couldn't sync with the phone. Still showed the run summary on the screen though.
Amazing battery life. Good for marathons. Accurate satellite systems. Has GPS & GLONASS.
It's not the best looker, it's dull, but I still love it. Best value for money for me.

Great watch. Awesome features and really good battery life.

Wow, what an improvement on the Fitbit.
It's been 7 days now and battery is only at 33%
Get the clock face you want/need
Much more accurate than the Fitbit AND WATERPROOF
Just loving it.

The reason I purchased the VivoactiveHR was for the "bandless" heart rate monitor. Sadly, it does not work! I row quite vigourously and even following the manual's suggestions for erratic heart rate readings, it gives nonsense readings. At high rates and fast times, rather than reflect an increased heart rate, it goes down and sticks at about 34 bpm! If only that was real! Strangely, when not exercising, the readings appear quite normal. So if you are a rowing enthusiast and want a heart rate reading, don't waste your money on this product.
